WMECo Launches Silver Lake Solar Project in Pittsfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., June 21, 2010 – Western Massachusetts Electric Company (WMECo) launches construction of its inaugural solar project today in Pittsfield. The facility, at the William Stanley Business Park on Silver Lake Boulevard, is the first and largest of its kind in New England and the first step in WMECo’s large-scale solar program.

DOER Files Final Solar Carve-Out Revisions
